At Cycle-Up, we recognise the value of waste. We work with waste streams every day to prevent waste as much as possible. Our motto? Making something out of nothing. Since 2024, we have been doing this in the first circular HUB in the northern Netherlands: the Cycle-Up HUB, located in Leeuwarden. Here, various sustainable entrepreneurs come together to work on a meaningful future.
We are not only committed to raw materials, but also focus on (local) society. With our “Social Workforce”, we ensure a meaningful impact. This group of young people works at various companies on products and services. In this way, our products do something good for nature and society!

Imperfection is sexy
Cycle-up employs promising individuals who are (or have been) experiencing difficulties in their lives. In addition to being a sheltered workshop, we are also a meeting place where you are encouraged to be yourself, both collectively and individually.
In this way, we broaden the world of our heroes, while reducing the waste chain. The products this yields are not all the same, but that is not necessary. We prefer to embrace imperfection, while letting our CO2 reduction and water savings speak for themselves.
With Cycle-up, we want to change perspectives. On the one hand, this means freedom of choice in the labour market. Other companies also recognise and implement our innovative way of working.
This allows heroes like ours to not only get involved in daytime activities, but to really participate. Whether that's as a car mechanic, in the hospitality industry or somewhere else entirely.
